With Formula 1 set to return to Malaysia for the first time since 2017, KitKat is giving fans more opportunities to secure tickets to the 2026 race weekend.

The FORMULA 1 GULF AIR BAHRAIN GRAND PRIX IN MALAYSIA 2026 will take place at the Sepang International Circuit from 2 to 4 October. Ahead of the race, KitKat has launched a new online contest alongside a series of Formula 1-inspired roadshows, following its earlier ticket giveaway for the Singapore Grand Prix.

At selected roadshows, fans can test their reflexes in a wind chamber challenge. Participants need to purchase at least RM80 worth of participating KitKat products in a single receipt before entering the chamber, where they have 30 seconds to collect tickets carrying different point values.

Scores will be recorded throughout each roadshow, with the highest-scoring participant at each location winning a three-day Grandstand ticket to the race.

The roadshow finale will take place at The Exchange TRX from 22 to 27 September, with four three-day Grandstand tickets available to be won. On 27 September, Malaysia’s only Formula 1 driver, Alex Yoong, and actor Amir Ahnaf will make special appearances as part of the finale.

For those who prefer to enter online, KitKat’s latest contest runs until 20 September. Fans can purchase at least RM10 worth of participating KitKat products and upload their receipt through the contest microsite or via WhatsApp for a chance to win race tickets.

The return of Formula 1 to Sepang marks the first Malaysian Grand Prix since the circuit last hosted the event in 2017. After a nine-year absence, the 2026 race is expected to bring the sport back to Malaysian fans while introducing it to a new generation of followers.

With the online contest closing on 20 September, fans have less than a week to submit their entries and make their break count.
