Hennessy Unveils An Artistic Tribute To The Year Of The Horse
Share
Hennessy marks the arrival of the Year of the Horse with a new collection of limited-edition releases, unveiling specially designed editions of Hennessy V.S.O.P, Hennessy X.O and Hennessy Paradis. Created to honour the Lunar New Year, the collection brings together heritage, artistry and symbolism through a striking visual interpretation of the horse — a timeless emblem of vitality, freedom and forward momentum.
The 2026 designs are defined by a rich interplay of metallic copper tones, deep mineral hues and flowing shades of red, a colour long associated with prosperity, celebration and good fortune. At the centre of each bottle is a sculptural depiction of a galloping horse, rendered with a sense of movement and energy that mirrors both the optimism of the season and the layered complexity of Hennessy’s cognacs.
Beyond A Design

More than a decorative motif, the horse serves as a metaphor for perspective and progress. Inspired by Eastern philosophy, the design explores the idea of freedom through motion and space, inviting individual interpretation. Sculpted forms and open elements reflect the evolving character of Hennessy’s eaux-de-vie — shaped patiently over time through craftsmanship, intuition and expertise.
Each expression in the collection carries this symbolism forward. Whether it is the balance and versatility of Hennessy V.S.O.P, the depth and structure of Hennessy X.O, or the elegance and finesse of Hennessy Paradis, the limited-edition designs celebrate fresh beginnings while remaining grounded in the Maison’s centuries-old savoir-faire.
Hennessy’s relationship with Chinese culture dates back to 1859, when the Maison first shipped Old Pale Cognac to China. Over the decades, this connection has deepened through cultural milestones and creative collaborations — from the introduction of Hennessy X.O in 1872 to landmark moments such as the “Spirit of Hennessy” in Shanghai and the Silk Road journey of Hennessy X.O. The Year of the Horse collection continues this legacy, celebrating shared values of heritage, artistry and innovation as the new year begins.
