If you’ve ever dreamt of swapping your bedroom decks for a packed dancefloor, Martell is giving you the chance. The Martell Noblige Swift Talent Quest is back for 2025, calling on aspiring and established DJs from across Malaysia to step up, get bold, and show the country what they’re made of.

Submissions are now open until 14 September, with a total prize pool of RM128,000 waiting to be claimed. The eventual winner won’t just take home RM30,000 in cash, but also a series of exclusive rewards designed to boost their journey into the world of professional DJing. More importantly, it’s the kind of spotlight that could catapult an underground favourite into a household name.

Last year’s competition pulled in an avalanche of entries, with four finalists eventually lighting up the mainstage. This time around, Martell is raising the stakes. October will see a series of buzzing Swift Nights across the country, giving hopefuls the chance to play live and earn their spot in the Semi-Finals come November. From there, it’s all eyes on December’s grand finale, where one fearless DJ will be crowned champion.

But here’s the twist: 2025 won’t be a straightforward spin-the-decks free-for-all. Expect curveballs, from genre-bending flips to unexpected collaborations and rave-inspired remixes. Contestants won’t know what’s coming until they advance to the next round, adding a dose of adrenaline to the mix.

“Swift Talent Quest is about more than just playing a good set,” explains Liew Pooi Wan, Head of Marketing at Pernod Ricard Malaysia. “It’s about showing up with boldness, vision, and pushing your own creative edge.”

The competition is once again teaming up with DJs Playground as official mentors, with last year’s champion DJ Svggy cheering on the next wave of contenders. For Malaysia’s rising DJ community, it’s more than a contest — it’s a launchpad.
