The Walt Disney Company has announced that D23 Asia: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event will debut in Singapore in 2027, marking a major milestone in the expansion of Disney’s global fan celebrations across the Asia Pacific region.

The multi-day event will bring together Disney fans from across the region and beyond, offering exclusive first access to the latest in Disney storytelling, creativity and innovation. Attendees can expect appearances by top stars and storytellers, alongside immersive experiences and interactive showcases designed to connect global fan communities.

D23 Asia builds on the legacy of D23, the official Disney fan club launched in 2009. The name references 1923 — the year Walt Disney opened his first studio — and has since evolved into Disney’s premier global fan event. Previous editions, including those in Anaheim and Brazil, have featured major announcements, live stage presentations and curated merchandise experiences.

According to Disney, bringing D23 to Singapore reflects the strong and growing fan base across Asia Pacific, while offering a platform to showcase upcoming content, including regional productions for Disney+. The event is also expected to feature exclusive previews and insights from creative talent behind some of Disney’s most anticipated projects.

Supported by the Singapore Tourism Board, the event is set to further position Singapore as a leading destination for large-scale entertainment experiences in the region.
