Dyson has introduced the Supersonic™ Travel hair dryer, a compact version of its flagship styling tool designed for portability without sacrificing performance. Positioned for frequent travellers, the new device is 32% smaller and 25% lighter than the original Dyson Supersonic, while retaining the brand’s core focus on fast drying and hair protection.

Built with global voltage compatibility, the travel-friendly design is intended to work seamlessly across different countries, making it suitable for everything from gym sessions to long-haul trips. Despite its reduced size, Dyson says the dryer maintains strong airflow and precision styling, supported by intelligent heat control technology that monitors temperature multiple times per second to prevent damage.

The Supersonic Travel also integrates with Dyson’s wider ecosystem, allowing users to share attachments with existing tools such as the Dyson Supersonic Nural. This continuity reflects the company’s broader approach to hair care, combining engineering and research into airflow, heat and scalp health.

Since launching the original Supersonic in 2016, Dyson has expanded its beauty portfolio with tools like the Dyson Airwrap and Dyson Airstrait, positioning itself at the intersection of technology and personal care.
