Disney+ has released the first trailer and key art for Furious, a new crime drama that will premiere in Malaysia on 27 July.

Created by Elizabeth Meriwether, the series opens with three episodes before continuing with weekly releases. The thriller follows FBI agent Alice Black, played by Emmy Rossum, as she investigates a mysterious female serial killer whose pursuit of justice mirrors her own in unexpected ways.

As the investigation unfolds, the lives of the investigator and the suspect become increasingly intertwined, blurring the line between justice and obsession. Rossum leads a cast that also includes Lola Petticrew, Scoot McNairy, Quincy Tyler Bernstine and Jake Lacy.

Meriwether serves as creator, writer and executive producer, with Rossum also executive producing through Composition 8 alongside Ronald Bass, Matt Olmstead and Sam Hoffman. Brian Kirk directed the opening two episodes and also executive produces the series. Furious is produced by 20th Television and Searchlight Television.

The release is part of Disney+’s growing slate of original dramas available internationally. In Malaysia, Furious will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on 27 July, with new episodes arriving weekly after the initial three-episode launch.
