BBC Kingdom

BBC Earth is set to premiere Kingdom, the latest landmark series from BBC Studios’ acclaimed Natural History Unit, narrated by the legendary Sir David Attenborough. The six-part series will debut next month across Asia on BBC Earth, and on BBC Player in Singapore, Malaysia, and Taiwan.

Five years in the making, the series chronicles the dramatic real-life sagas of four animal families—leopards, hyenas, wild dogs, and lions—each vying for dominance in a fertile river valley in Zambia.

It marks one of the most ambitious natural history projects ever undertaken by the BBC, and the first time a landmark series has focused so intimately on a single location over such a long period.

Across six cinematic episodes, viewers will witness the intricate power struggles and fragile alliances that shape life in this untamed corner of Africa.

Beyond the main predators, the series also spotlights a colourful cast of supporting species, from mighty elephants to mischievous baboons, revealing how every creature plays a vital role in the valley’s complex ecosystem.

Kingdom is a rare fusion of breathtaking visuals and emotional storytelling, offering an intimate window into the raw beauty and resilience of nature’s most formidable families.

Stream Kingdom express from the UK on BBC Player every Monday from 10 November at 12pm, or catch the premiere on BBC Earth from 16 November at 8pm (Unifi TV Channel 501 and Astro Channel 554).
