The 19th edition of adidas Eurocamp will take place from 5–7 June 2026 in Treviso, as the long-established international showcase continues its role in connecting emerging basketball talent with professional pathways.

Organised by adidas, the annual pre-draft event brings together top prospects aged 16 to 22 from across Europe, the United States, Latin America, Africa, Australia and Asia-Pacific. The camp is also attended by coaches, scouts and agents from both the NBA and EuroLeague, reinforcing its position as one of the sport’s key international evaluation platforms.

19th Edition

Adidas Eurocamp 2025

Held in Italy each year, adidas Eurocamp focuses on player development as much as exposure, offering participants structured training sessions, competitive scrimmages and mentorship from professional coaches and former players.

The 2026 edition will again follow the adidas NextGen EuroLeague tournament, which features leading under-18 club teams from across Europe. Standout performers from that competition will form the Team NextGen squad at Eurocamp, providing a clear pathway between junior elite competition and the professional scouting environment.

According to Doğuş Balbay, who is involved in coaching the NextGen programme, the progression from youth tournaments to Eurocamp reflects the increasing structure of international player development. He noted that the format allows prospects to measure themselves against peers from different basketball systems while gaining exposure to professional decision-makers.

Several team groupings will feature at this year’s event, including draft-eligible Eurocamp selections, a 3SSB circuit select team, participants from the NBL Next Stars programme covering Australia and New Zealand, the NextGen all-star roster, and a World team representing emerging markets such as China, Japan, Africa and South America.

The previous edition of Eurocamp included participation from dozens of professional organisations and agencies, alongside global media coverage. Coaching leadership included Bill Bayno and scouting director Gianluca Pascucci, reflecting the event’s continued connection to professional front offices.

Registration for the 2026 camp is expected to open in the coming months, with additional coaches, mentors and guest participants to be confirmed.

Now approaching its third decade, adidas Eurocamp remains a consistent fixture on the international scouting calendar, illustrating the increasingly global nature of basketball’s development pipeline.
