Disney+ will premiere the second season of the Korean action thriller A Shop for Killers on 22 July, continuing the story of Jeong Jian and her uncle Jeong Jinman following the dramatic conclusion of the first season.
The eight-episode series will launch with two episodes, followed by two new episodes every Wednesday until the season finale on 12 August.
Season two sees Jian take charge of the weapons shop while Jinman returns after being presumed dead. As the pair attempt to stay ahead of the mercenary organisation BABYLON, the group recruits new international assassins in a bid to rebuild its ranks and seek revenge.
Lee Dongwook reprises his role as Jeong Jinman alongside Kim Hyejun as Jeong Jian. Joining the cast are Japanese actors Hyunri as team leader Q and Masaki Okada as mercenary J, expanding the series’ international ensemble.
The series is written by returning writers Jee Hojin and Lee Kwon, with Lee Kwon also returning as director.

The first season received critical acclaim following its release, including recognition as one of The New York Times’ Best International TV Shows of 2024. Its blend of stylised action, suspense and character-driven storytelling helped establish it as one of Disney+’s standout Korean originals.
A Shop for Killers Season 2 is part of Disney+’s expanding slate of Korean content, with further returning series including Made In Korea and Moving also scheduled to return with new seasons.
Season one is currently available to stream, with season two premiering exclusively on Disney+ from 22 July.
