The new timepiece extends Panerai’s legacy into the skies and seas serving as the ultimate companion. Limited to just 35 pieces, participants are invited to a three-day immersive training in Grottaglie, Puglia.

During the experience participants will learn the uncompromising discipline of the Military Corps, participating in thrilling military training activities while gaining rare insight into their usual naval aviation operations through tactical simulations and helicopter missions. Rugged Companion

The PAM01699 features a 47mm brushed case constructed from Grade 5 Titanium and a unidirectional titanium bezel enriched with a matt black ceramic insert. The green-grained matt dial with black gradient finish showcasing the Marina Militare signature at 6 o’clock, is inspired by Aviazione Navale aircrew flight gear and helmets.

Grey Super-LumiNova takes after the colours of Aviazione Navale aircraft while the small seconds counter’s design resembles a radar display, with the historical Aviazione Navale aircraft’s anchor insignia subtly engraved.

Complementing the dial is a green cotton canvas strap with T/T stitching, delivering durability and a nod to the military uniforms. A second black rubber strap is available, making it the perfect companion for diving missions. On the screwed titanium case back, the Aviazione Navale wings emblem is engraved for the first-time ever in Panerai’s collections.

Military Precision

At the heart of the Panerai Submersible Chrono Marina Militare lies the P.9100/R automatic calibre featuring five patented innovations including a regatta countdown mechanism, hammer reset, guide lever for pusher and quick change of time spring. The countdown functionality makes it a critical tool for time-sensitive challenges while the flyback function of the chronograph allows instant reset and restart of the chronograph while running, with only one click instead of three.

The patented mechanism allows the time-to-target countdown function to be easily set using the push-button at 4 o’clock and activated at 10 o’clock. The movement also presents long central chrono seconds and minutes hands for enhanced readability.

Alongside the innovative time-keeping performance, the two spring barrels in series ensure a 3-day power reserve. Designed for deep sea-exploration, PAM01699 delivers a certification of 50 BAR (500 meters) water resistance.
