As the Official Timekeeper of Salone del Mobile, Panerai found a cool way to tribute the world of design and innovation. At  the prestigious event, the Maison presents the Panerai Luminor GMT Power Reserve Ceramica PAM01574.

The timepiece made its debut at Panerai’s pop-up at Milano Rho Fiera.

Durable Design With An Italian Flair

The PAM01574 showcases a robust 44mm black ceramic case with a mix of polished and sandblasted finishes. This high-tech ceramic is celebrated for its exceptional resistance to high temperatures, scratches, and corrosion, while remaining remarkably lightweight.

The striking blue sun-brushed sandwich dial features a power reserve indicator at the 5 o’clock position, elegantly inscribed with ‘ORE’ (Italian for “hours”), a nod to Panerai’s Italian heritage. A dedicated 12-hour GMT hand, a bevelled date window at 3 o’clock as well as a minuterie track along the dial’s edge allow for further utility and precise reading of the minutes.

The watch is completed with a smoked sapphire crystal case back and a titanium base, adding to its sophisticated construction.

Advanced Functionality And Versatility

At the heart of the PAM01574 lies the P.9012 caliber, an automatic movement offering a comprehensive suite of functions including a GMT complication and a three-day power reserve.

This movement is designed for precision and ease of use, incorporating a reset seconds function that stops the balance wheel and resets the small seconds hand to zero when the crown is pulled out.

Standout features include a quick time-setting function allows for effortless forward or backward adjustment of the hour hand and date.

It is complemented by two strap options: an elegant blue alligator strap and a more casual blue rubber strap. Both straps, along with the buckle, are equipped with the PAM Click Release System, enabling easy, tool-free interchangeability to suit any style.
