Jumeirah Group, a renowned luxury hospitality company and member of Dubai Holding, has announced the extension of its partnership with Williams Racing. This move marks the continuation of a successful collaboration initiated last year, aimed at reaching new global audiences as part of the former’s ongoing growth strategy and international expansion.
An Expansive Portfolio
With a portfolio of 26 properties spanning 11 countries, Jumeirah is committed to innovation, constantly striving to offer distinctive experiences for its guests, partners, and Jumeirah One members. As part of the extended partnership, the hospitality group will continue to organise exclusive events and moments at Grand Prix locations worldwide throughout 2024, with a special emphasis on venues featuring its properties.
As an example, during the Formula 1 season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix on 2 March 2024, race fans were invited to indulge in exceptional dining and explore the pristine beaches of Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain Resort & Spa, located just 10 minutes from the Bahrain International Circuit. This picturesque setting provided the perfect backdrop for unwinding after an exhilarating race day.
Better Experiences
Jumeirah plans to deliver more exclusive events and tailored race-day experiences, starting with The Carlton Tower Jumeirah during the Silverstone Grand Prix, and further activities at Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi, where the 2024 Formula 1 season concludes.
Alexander Lee, Chief Commercial Officer at Jumeirah Group, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that it offers unparalleled opportunities to engage fans and create unique experiences for guests, partners, and Jumeirah One members.
Heritage And Modernity
Lee also highlighted the alignment between Williams Racing’s reputation for tenacity, performance, and heritage with Jumeirah’s goals of innovation and global expansion. Throughout the 2023 Formula 1 season, the partnership provided access to exclusive experiences at Grand Prix locations and Jumeirah properties.
Highlights included driver events, paddock dinners, heritage events, and behind-the-scenes access at Grands Prix. The season finale at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix saw Jumeirah One members and race fans at Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort & Spa enjoying special access to a live Q&A event with drivers Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant, among other unique experiences planned exclusively with Williams Racing.
