It Has Been Integrated into TOYOTA’s New BEV “bZ3X” for China

YAMAHA Corporation’s automotive speaker system has been featured in the new BEV* “bZ3X” marketed for China that was released for sale on March 6 by GAC Toyota Motor Co., Ltd., which was jointly developed by TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION, Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd., GAC TOYOTA and IEM by TOYOTA.

The bZ3X is a family-oriented SUV-type BEV (battery electric vehicle) offering a spacious and comfortable interior with advanced intelligent technology.

In line with the bZ3X’s “Cozy Home” concept, evoking the sense of a comfortable mobile home, Yamaha, under the theme of its “authentic sound” developed over many years of making musical instruments which deliver the enchanting sounds of musical instruments to all people, from adults to children, to realize a musical experience enriching to their lives.

This speaker system (similar to the system found in the award winning Zeekr X Crossover) is composed of 11 speakers where particular care was given to reproducing the sounds of musical instruments and the tuning was performed by Yamaha Sound Meisters.

Driven by the desire to deliver the emotion of the moment music is created, Yamaha designs the vehicle cabin acoustics with the phrase “Brings Me Closer to the Artist” as their guiding principle.

Meanwhile, by creating a sound specifically designed to align with the vehicle’s character, concept, and the values it conveys to users, Yamaha is able to deliver the ideal audio experience that complements this electric car.
