Celebrating its 200th anniversary The Macallan unveils exceptional releases to toast its illustrious history
This year, The Macallan marks its 200th anniversary with a celebration of innovation, craftsmanship, and heritage. Since its founding in 1824, The Macallan has evolved from a small distillery to a global whisky leader, always staying true to its core values while embracing new ideas. 
A Celebration
To commemorate this milestone, The Macallan unveils three extraordinary releases: the TIME : SPACE Collection, Harmony Vibrant Oak, and A Night on Earth in Jerez de la Frontera, each blending tradition with innovation.
The TIME : SPACE Collection is a tribute to The Macallan’s vision of whisky as a journey through time. The collection features two remarkable expressions: TIME : SPACE and TIME : SPACE Mastery. TIME : SPACE is housed in a dual-chambered vessel, one side containing a rare 1940 vintage, the oldest Macallan release at 84 years old, and the other, a 2018 vintage from the brand’s new distillery. 
Limited Editions
Limited to only 200 bottles, it represents both the past and future of The Macallan. TIME : SPACE Mastery is crafted from 14 different cask types, showcasing the depth of The Macallan’s artistry and dedication to exceptional whisky-making.
The Harmony Vibrant Oak on the other hand part is of The Macallan’s Harmony Collection. And it highlights the importance of oak in shaping its distinct flavor. Matured in a blend of American oak and sherry-seasoned oak casks, Vibrant Oak features rich vanilla, spices, and dark fruits. 
Stellar Packaging
The innovative packaging, made from oak chippings, emphasizes sustainability, further underscoring the brand’s commitment to the future. Lastly, A Night on Earth in Jerez de la Frontera celebrates The Macallan’s deep connection to Jerez, where its casks are crafted.
What’s more, inspired by Spanish New Year traditions, this whisky features flavors of pastry, grapes, and anise. Its unique packaging showcases artwork by Jerez artist María Melero, symbolizing the region’s cultural heritage.
Each of these limited-edition releases invites whisky enthusiasts to experience The Macallan’s rich history while looking forward to the future.
