Hari Art Trail

The Hari Hong Kong has introduced a bespoke cultural experience with the launch of The Hari Art Trail, a guided journey through the hotel’s curated art collection and the vibrant creative landscape of Wan Chai.

Led by in-house Art Ambassador and practicing artist Bibek Rai, the trail offers guests an intimate look at the stories behind the hotel’s diverse artworks. From striking installations to surreal photography and digital film, the pieces have been curated by London-based art advisory A Space For Art, also responsible for the art collection at The Hari London.

Highlights of the permanent collection include Rado Kirov’s monumental stainless steel piece The Monumental Melt, Tseng Kwong Chi’s iconic black-and-white self-portraits, and Lee Leenam’s digital reinterpretation New Kiss. The hotel also rotates works from The Hari Art Prize Hong Kong Edition to spotlight rising local talent.

Following the in-hotel tour, guests are encouraged to explore two of Wan Chai’s hidden cultural hubs. The Foo Tak Building—dubbed a “vertical art village”—houses subsidised studios for arts and community organisations, while appointment-only gallery PHD Group showcases contemporary works in a reimagined 1970s rooftop clubhouse.

Arty Neighbourhood

Located near Hong Kong’s bustling art districts, The Hari provides access to renowned galleries such as Woaw Gallery, White Cube, Tang Contemporary Art, Pearl Lam Galleries, and more.

“With art woven into The Hari Hong Kong’s DNA, this trail offers guests a new perspective on our hotel and one of the city’s most creative districts,” said General Manager Edward E. Snoeks. “Through Bibek’s unique insights, guests discover the stories behind our design and artworks before exploring the artistic energy of Wan Chai.”

Designed by acclaimed British interior designer Tara Bernerd, the 30-storey hotel features 210 rooms, three rooftop suites, and signature restaurants Lucciola and Zoku, as well as The Terrace bar and The Lounge.

The personalised art tour is available by appointment, subject to availability. The Hari also hosts The Hari Art Prize and The Hari Chronicles, a series of talks exploring art, design, and culture.
