FENDI revisits one of its most recognisable designs with the Baguette 26424 Re-Edition, marking nearly 30 years since the bag’s original debut in 1997. The updated version stays close to the original silhouette but introduces a softer construction and improved under-the-arm wearability, reflecting how the piece has evolved alongside changing habits and styling preferences.

The new release expands the idea of the Baguette beyond a single defining look. Presented in 20 variations—including several Milan-exclusive designs—the collection leans into diversity rather than uniformity, positioning the bag less as a fixed icon and more as a flexible expression of personal style. Each piece features a dedicated Re-Edition metal tag and comes in custom wooden packaging inspired by art shipping crates, reinforcing the brand’s focus on craft and presentation.

The re-edition also draws on a broader narrative around individuality, echoing long-standing cultural references to what a handbag represents beyond function. The idea that what we carry reflects who we are underpins the collection’s direction, with the Baguette framed as something that adapts to the wearer rather than defines them.
