Central Yards Edible Art Fair Brings A Playful, Multi-Sensory Art Experience To Hong Kong
Share
This March, Hong Kong’s cultural calendar gains a fresh and playful new addition with the debut of Central Yards Edible Art Fair, a first-of-its-kind event that brings art, food and imagination together in a multi-sensory experience.
Running from 26 March to 5 April 2026 at the Central Harbourfront Event Space, the Fair transforms the way art is encountered, inviting visitors to engage not just visually, but through taste, texture and storytelling. Designed for all ages, the experience unfolds across ten immersive galleries, each inspired by a significant art movement and paired with a specially created edible element.
A New Way To Experience Art

Conceived by Arbiona Cadman, founder and creative director of events and catering company Feste Group, with art curation by independent consultancy Art-Partners, the Fair reflects a growing appetite for experiential culture that is accessible, interactive and joyful. Visitors are encouraged to explore the galleries at their own pace, discovering moments of surprise along the way.
From Impressionism and Modernism to Surrealism, Neo-Pop and Optical Illusion Art, each gallery reimagines familiar artistic ideas in unexpected ways. Installations play with colour, scale and perspective, while edible creations extend the narrative beyond the visual, turning abstract concepts into tangible experiences.
A Delicious Twist

Two galleries are dedicated to Hong Kong’s art scene, spotlighting Contemporary Art and New Ink movements through site-specific installations created in collaboration with local artists. These spaces ground the experience in the city’s creative identity, offering a distinctly Hong Kong perspective within a broader international framework.
Set within a nearly 20,000-square-foot purpose-built tent beside the future Central Yards development, the Fair is designed to be welcoming, photogenic and immersive, appealing to families, trend-seekers and the culturally curious alike. Each timed-entry ticket includes access to all ten galleries and a curated selection of edible creations encountered throughout the journey.

In addition to the main exhibition, optional Edible Workshops offer hands-on sessions where participants can create their own food-inspired art, adding another layer of interaction to the experience.
Positioned as both a cultural event and a playful exploration of creativity, Central Yards Edible Art Fair offers a fresh way to experience art in Hong Kong — one that invites visitors to look, taste and imagine differently.
