Disney Cruise Line has marked a historic milestone with the arrival of the Disney Adventure in Singapore — the brand’s first ship to homeport in Asia.
The vessel made a spectacular entrance at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore, greeted by a ceremonial water salute and a dazzling fireworks display that illuminated the city skyline. The celebratory atmosphere signalled the beginning of a new era for cruise holidays in the region.
The Disney Adventure will embark on her maiden voyage from Singapore on 10 March 2026, offering three- and four-night sailings at sea tailored for families and guests of all ages. Drawing on more than a century of storytelling from Disney, Pixar and Marvel, the ship promises world-class entertainment, immersive dining and thoughtfully designed accommodations.
Landmark Moment

Joe Schott, President of Disney Signature Experiences, described the arrival as a significant moment in the company’s global expansion. He noted that introducing Disney cruising to Asia for the first time honours the cruise line’s legacy of unforgettable journeys while opening an exciting new chapter in a dynamic destination.
The launch forms part of a broader period of growth for Disney Experiences. Disney Cruise Line is set to expand to a 13-ship fleet by 2031, following recent debuts including the Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny.
Singapore’s status as Asia Pacific’s leading cruise hub makes it a strategic choice. With direct air links to more than 160 cities and world-class port infrastructure — including the recently expanded Marina Bay Cruise Centre — the city-state welcomed over two million cruise passengers across 375 ship calls in 2025.
Growing The Disney Brand
The Disney Adventure’s five-year homeporting commitment is expected to boost fly-cruise demand and generate significant economic impact across tourism and maritime sectors.
Onboard, guests will discover seven themed areas, regionally inspired dining options and nearly 17,000 square feet of retail space. New-to-fleet retail concepts include the World of Disney store, National Geographic Store and the Duffy and Friends Shop.
Entertainment highlights include the all-new musical spectacular “Remember”, created exclusively for the ship, alongside “Duffy and the Friend Ship” and Marvel-themed attractions such as Ironcycle Test Run — set to be the longest rollercoaster at sea.
With its Singapore debut, the Disney Adventure ushers in a new chapter of immersive cruise experiences for Asia.
