As Stranger Things prepares to close the portal on its epic story with the upcoming fifth and final season, Malaysian fans are being summoned for one final journey into the world of Hawkins. From 27 to 30 November, Kuala Lumpur transforms into a nostalgic, neon-tinged playground with Stranger Rides — an immersive, Malaysia-exclusive activation that invites fans to relive the show’s most iconic moments in a uniquely local way.

At the heart of the experience is a fleet of beca — or trishaws — reimagined as moving tributes to the Stranger Things universe. Each ride is decorated with familiar callbacks, from the retro streets of 1980s Hawkins and sun-drenched California to spine-tingling elements inspired by the dark forces of the Upside Down.

Whether you’re Team Eleven, Team Eddie, or Team Scoops Ahoy, hopping on a Stranger Rides feels like stepping straight into the beloved series one last time. The experience promises to be a heartfelt farewell for fans as they count down to the final battle against Vecna.

Surrounding the hub, the activation area becomes a lively fan zone filled with interactive challenges and themed surprises. Brave guests can attempt to top Mad Max’s high score at the Palace Arcade, race to assemble a Demogorgon puzzle, or fuel up at Stranger Things-inspired food trucks serving nostalgic bites.

Those who make their way through the various checkpoints and collect all the required stamps in their activity passport will score exclusive Stranger Things merchandise (while supplies last).

Taking place at Daily Dose Coffee at Bangunan Getah Asli on Jalan Ampang, Stranger Rides runs from 9–11PM on 27 November, and from 6–11PM from 28–30 November. Fans can pre-book their ride at StrangerRides.my and join the Hawkins gang for one final adventure before the story closes for good.
