Star Wars: Visions returns for its third volume on 29 October 2025, exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar. The acclaimed animated anthology continues to reimagine the Star Wars universe through diverse cultural lenses, with Volume 3 featuring nine new short films from nine leading Japanese anime studios.
Studios featured in this instalment include Kamikaze Douga + ANIMA, Project Studio Q, Kinema Citrus Co., Production I.G, Polygon Pictures, TRIGGER, david production, WIT STUDIO, and Studio Q, each contributing a unique story and animation style.
Following global recognition—including Emmy, Annie, and Lumière Awards—Visions returns to its anime roots, celebrating the richness and creativity of Japanese animation.
Below is the episodic breakdown of Star Wars: Visions Volume 3:

“The Duel: Payback” (Kamikaze Douga + ANIMA): Ronin faces his greatest enemy, the Grand Master.
“The Song of Four Wings” (Project Studio Q): A rebel princess protects a child from the Empire.
“The Ninth Jedi: Child of Hope” (Production I.G): Kara is thrust into danger after a space ambush.
“The Bounty Hunters” (WIT STUDIO): A bounty hunter takes on an unexpected job.
“Yuko’s Treasure” & “The Lost Ones” (Kinema Citrus Co.): Two interwoven tales of survival and legacy.
“The Smuggler” (TRIGGER): A risky rescue mission with a payday in sight.
“The Bird of Paradise” (Polygon Pictures): A Jedi Padawan faces spiritual trials after battle.
“BLACK” (david production): A haunting journey through the psyche of a fallen trooper.
Executive producers for Volume 3 include James Waugh, Josh Rimes, and Jacqui Lopez, with Justin Leach as co-executive producer.
