SK intellix Malaysia has introduced Namuhˣ, an AI-powered wellness device designed to combine air purification, wellness monitoring and voice-controlled interaction in a single system for modern homes and workspaces.

Originally introduced in Korea, Namuhˣ takes a mobile approach to indoor air quality. Rather than remaining in one position like a conventional air purifier, the device can move independently around a space, detecting changes in air conditions and responding to areas where pollutants are identified.

A single Namuhˣ unit can cover spaces of up to 2,000 sq ft, with its autonomous movement designed to provide targeted air purification across different areas. The approach is particularly relevant as Malaysia continues to contend with periodic haze and air quality concerns, giving households another option for managing indoor environments.

Beyond air purification, Namuhˣ incorporates selected wellness monitoring functions and is powered by a Large Language Model (LLM), allowing users to communicate with the device using natural voice commands. Users can speak to Namuhˣ to request information, while the accompanying Namuhˣ mobile app provides remote connectivity when they are away from home.

Smart Wellness

The combination of robotics and AI places Namuhˣ within a growing category of smart wellness technology, where devices are designed to respond to their surroundings rather than simply operate through manual controls.

According to Andy Kim Ja Joong, Managing Director of SK intellix Malaysia, the device brings functions that consumers have traditionally managed through separate products into a single system.

“Namuhˣ brings these experiences together in one device, introducing a new way to experience wellness through robotics,” he said.

Kim added that voice control was intended to make the technology more intuitive for everyday use, allowing users to interact with the device more naturally.

With autonomous movement, air-quality sensing, wellness monitoring, voice interaction and mobile connectivity, Namuhˣ represents SK intellix Malaysia’s approach to integrating AI and robotics into everyday wellness and smart home living.
