Omega gathered the stars in St. Moritz for this bob run
In St. Moritz, Oris brought together talented guests and split them into bob teams to experience the twists and turns of the fast-paced winter sport. Each run was measured with split-second precision by Omega’s team of Official Timekeepers who serve the athletes of the IBSF World Bobsleigh & Skeleton Championships.
The Big Names
Guests of Omega were model and brand ambassador, Kaia Gerber, DJ and producer, Diplo, actress and entrepreneur, Shay Mitchell, social media phenom, Noah Beck, supermodel, entrepreneur and investor, Ashley Graham, actor, Gavin Casalegno, Latin urban music artist, Arcángel, music artist, Jess Glynne and actor, O’Shea Jackson Jr.
Opening Remarks
While extending a warm welcome to the guests, President and CEO of Omega, Mr. Raynald Aeschlimann, spoke highly of the event and its location, saying “It makes me smile to see our star guests unleash their inner winter athlete. You need a genuine sense of adventure to take the bob run and they embraced every second.”
“We love being able to offer this experience to friends, in this incredible region of our home country. It’s the perfect way for a proudly Swiss brand to say welcome to our world.” He added.
An Unforgettable Experience
Brand ambassador, Kaia Gerber, agreed, stating, “Being in St. Moritz for the first time with Omega is such an incredible experience. I loved getting a true sense of what it feels like to compete in a bob team. It’s been such a rush to experience the speed of the Olympia Run, to spend time with my Omega family, and meet such amazing new people. Another unforgettable memory made with Omega.“
As Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games and the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation, Omega has recorded the speeds of top-level bob teams at multiple Winter Olympic Games and IBSF World Cup events.
World Class Location
Though the pace was gentler for Omega’s celebrity guests, the venue was world class. The prestigious Olympia Run was the Bob venue at the 1928 and 1948 Olympic Games. As well as being the oldest bob run in the world, Olympia St. Moritz is the only run that is naturally refrigerated.
