Honda SENSING also becomes a standard feature across all Honda City variants

Honda Malaysia has officially launched the New City Hatchback, now featuring an additional petrol option for its RS variant. This completes the lineup of sporty hybrid and petrol offerings for this popular model. With this new addition, the New City Hatchback is now available in five distinct flavours.

Refreshed Style

The New Honda City Hatchback boasts several enhancements and upgrades to its exterior and interior including leather seats on the RS models and a stylish new body kit. Both the Petrol RS and e:HEV RS variants now measure 4,369 mm in length, while the S, E, and V variants are 4,350 mm.

Moreover, Honda continues to prioritise fuel efficiency and performance in its new models. The New City Hatchback hybrid variant is powered by a 1.5L e:HEV powertrain, producing 109PS and 253Nm of torque. The petrol variant, equipped with a 1.5L DOHC i-VTEC engine, delivers 121PS and 145Nm of torque.

Sporty Interior

Inside, the New City Hatchback features stylish upgrades, particularly in the RS variants, which include a striking red-painted dashboard panel and sporty Combi Leather seats (for non RS variants) with red stitching. Both Petrol RS and e:HEV RS come with an 8” Display Audio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Wireless Connectivity, plus a 7” TFT Meter Cluster.

Safety remains paramount with Honda SENSING now being standard across all variants, including Lead Car Departure Notification (LCDN). Other safety features include six airbags, Walk Away Auto Lock, and a Multi-Angle Reverse Camera with Hi-Resolution for all but the S variant.
