If you’re dreaming of a festive getaway that mixes five-star comfort with a dose of holiday sparkle, Palace Hotel Tokyo’s new seasonal offering might be just the ticket. Launching their ‘A Tokyo Christmas’ package for 2025, the hotel is pulling out all the stops — from glittering illuminations to gourmet feasts and in-room Christmas trees.
Available for stays from 20–25 December, the two-night experience wraps guests in yuletide luxury, with accommodation in either a Premier or Executive Suite, Club Lounge access (think afternoon tea and evening canapés), and a choice of breakfast in the lounge or in-room. A towering 5.9-foot Christmas tree awaits in your suite, along with a bottle of champagne and handmade cookies.
In The Festive Mood

But it’s not just what’s happening inside the hotel that makes this package shine. Included is a private, chauffeur-driven tour of Tokyo’s famous winter illuminations — an annual tradition in the capital. Guests can explore the sparkling streets of Marunouchi Naka Dori, Omotesando and Shibuya, with stops tailored to their interests. A professional photographer joins the ride to capture the festive fun.
Foodies will find plenty to celebrate as well. A six-course Christmas dinner at the hotel’s Grand Kitchen offers a cosy, upscale take on holiday dining — complete with dishes like abalone, snow crab, caviar-topped flounder and Japanese beef. Prefer a Michelin-starred meal? You can upgrade to Esterre by Alain Ducasse or indulge in traditional Japanese dining at Wadakura, GO or Tatsumi.

No Christmas stay would be complete without cake, and Palace Hotel Tokyo delivers. Guests can pick from five showstopping creations, including a blueberry-rich spin on the classic Victoria sponge, a pistachio mousse masterpiece, and an epic Marron Chantilly “mountain of snow”.

For those missing Europe’s festive bakes, the hotel’s pastry shop Sweets & Deli has stollen, kouglof and panettone — some with a uniquely Japanese twist (think yuzu-marzipan or matcha chestnut kouglof).
Prices start from JPY 941,000, with bookings open until 15 November — but only for a lucky few.
