Prepare for an extraordinary musical journey as Nickelodeon, GEA Live, and Senbla present “Avatar: The Last Airbender In Concert.” This immersive event features a live orchestra performing the iconic score from the beloved animated series, set against a backdrop of highlights and cherished moments from all three seasons.
A Grand Director
The concert, featuring the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) conducted by Gerard Salonga, will debut at Dewan Filharmonik Petronas (DFP) on 14 September 2024, at 8:30pm. The global tour begins in the U.S. with stops in major cities such as Los Angeles, Seattle, Dallas, and Atlanta, before heading to Europe, Australia, and beyond in 2025.
During this two-hour spectacle, audiences will experience the magic of the Avatar world as the orchestra brings to life the series’ memorable music. The performance features a unique blend of instruments, including taiko drums, erhu, violins, and clarinets.

The screen will showcase the series’ most beloved scenes, enhancing the live music with vivid visuals of Aang, Katara, Toph, Sokka, Zuko, and other iconic characters. Jeremy Zuckerman, the Emmy Award-winning composer behind the original Avatar score, has collaborated with the show’s creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko.
Plus, with editor Jeff Adams, you already know the music for this concert series is going to be top notch. This new arrangement elevates the epic and emotional depth of the series, offering fans a fresh and captivating experience.
“Avatar: The Last Airbender,” which aired from 2005 to 2008, is a critically acclaimed series honoured with a Peabody Award, Primetime Emmy, and multiple Annie and Genesis Awards. The success of the show has led to the creation of Avatar Studios for new content, a popular podcast, and a remastered soundtrack available on digital and vinyl.
