iQIYI, China’s leading online entertainment platform, has announced plans to develop its first comprehensive theme park, iQIYI LAND, in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province. Set to open later this year, the park will centre around iQIYI’s extensive portfolio of film and drama IPs, offering fully immersive experiences through cutting-edge technology.
The park will feature seven unique sectors, including immersive theatres, holographic light spaces, interactive performances, mixed reality party games, and more. There will also be themed dining options, IP merchandise, and activities designed to attract a diverse range of visitors.

Located in Yangzhou, the park will be easily accessible from major cities like Shanghai, Nanjing, and Suzhou, promoting domestic and international tourism. The site is part of the “Ten Miles of the Grand Canal” project, aimed at revitalising the Grand Canal Cultural Belt, blending cultural tourism with leisure and commercial development.
This venture builds on iQIYI’s success in offline entertainment, including immersive theatres across China and the iQIYI QiBubbleSpace theme park for children. Previous experiences, such as the immersive theatre for Strange Tales of the Tang Dynasty II, have demonstrated the value of integrating online content with physical attractions. Following the Chinese New Year, visitor numbers for these experiences surged by over 200%, while viewership of related content also rose.
iQIYI LAND represents a new milestone in iQIYI’s strategy to maximise the value of its IPs and create immersive entertainment that blends technology with storytelling.
