Scoot will launch three weekly flights between Singapore and Guiyang in southwest China from 26 October 2026, adding a new destination to its growing China network ahead of the year-end holiday period.
The service will be operated by an Airbus A320neo, with Malaysian travellers able to connect to Guiyang via Singapore Changi Airport. One-way Economy Class fares start from RM399, inclusive of taxes.
Located in Guizhou province, Guiyang is known for its mountainous landscapes and ethnic minority cultures. Nearby attractions include Qingyan Ancient Town, a well-preserved historic settlement, and Huangguoshu Waterfall, one of Asia’s largest waterfalls.

With the addition of Guiyang, Scoot will operate 81 weekly flights to 16 cities in mainland China. Its overall network will expand to 86 destinations across 18 countries and territories spanning the Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Europe.
The airline is also increasing flight frequencies on several existing routes as part of its Northern Winter 2026/2027 schedule, which runs from 25 October 2026 to 27 March 2027.
In Southeast Asia, flights to Hat Yai will increase from 12 to 14 times weekly, while Phuket will rise from 17 to 21 times weekly. Clark will increase from seven to 10 weekly services from December, and Kota Kinabalu will rise from 10 to 13 weekly services from January 2027. Phu Quoc will operate daily, with a gradual transition from the Embraer E190-E2 to Airbus A320-family aircraft.

Elsewhere, services to Okinawa will increase from four to five times weekly, while Tiruchirappalli will rise from 12 to 14 weekly flights from December.
The new Guiyang flights are available for booking through Scoot’s website and mobile application, with bookings opening through other channels progressively. The additional frequencies are intended to meet increased demand during the year-end travel period while giving travellers more options across the region.
