Couture meets cinema with Boucheron and Grand Maison Paris
Boucheron recetnly hosted the cast and crew of the highly anticipated film Grand Maison Paris, which was released on 30 December 2024. The iconic French jeweller opened the doors to its flagship store, a historic landmark at 26 Place Vendôme in Paris, for a pivotal scene in the film.
Renowned Cinema
The film will make its grand premiere in France on 8 January 2025, at the renowned Grand Rex cinema, adding to the excitement surrounding its release. The scene filmed at Boucheron’s flagship boutique features a lavish dinner setting, capturing the elegance and grandeur of the space.
Established in 1893, this location has long been synonymous with luxury and heritage, making it the perfect backdrop for the film. The boutique, spanning two floors, has been a signature address for the brand, epitomizing the essence of French luxury and craftsmanship.
Legacy Restored
Redesigned in 2018, the space embraces CEO Hélène Poulit-Duquesne’s vision to restore the Hôtel de Nocé, the original building, while retaining the intimate atmosphere of a family residence. The result is a stunning blend of history and modernity, where every detail reflects the brand’s deep-rooted legacy in fine jewellery.
For this special occasion, Boucheron lent some 60 exquisite pieces from its renowned collections, including high jewellery and intricate jewellery creations, to be featured in the film. These pieces, each a work of art, are a testament to Boucheron’s commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and timeless design.
Their presence in the film adds an extra layer of glamour and sophistication, reinforcing the connection between the jeweller’s storied history and the cinematic world. This collaboration between Boucheron and Grand Maison Paris further highlights the brand’s ongoing influence in the worlds of art, fashion, and cinema.
As the film premieres in Paris, the legacy of Boucheron will continue to shine, cementing its place as a symbol of Parisian elegance and luxury.
