In celebration of World Esports Day, Goodday Charge has taken a monumental step in promoting esports as a mainstream sport with the grand opening of Malaysia’s first all-ages, inclusive esports gym: the Goodday Charge Arena powered by Orange Esports Club.

Located at Quill City Mall, this state-of-the-art facility officially opened its doors on 16 October, marked by a ceremonial ribbon-cutting led by Pia Lisa, Marketing Manager at Etika Sdn Bhd, and Adrian Gaffor, Co-Founder and owner of The Gaming Company. The Goodday Charge Arena isn’t just a gym, it’s a community hub designed for gamers of all ages and skill levels.

This inclusive space aims to break down barriers and foster a love for esports, making it accessible to everyone, from casual gamers to aspiring professionals. To kick off the celebrations, the arena will host a full day of exciting activities. Visitors can enjoy free play, providing an opportunity for everyone to experience the arena without any cost.

These specially conducted workshops cover various aspects of esports, from game design and streaming to marketing and event management, equipping participants with valuable knowledge and insights. Attendees can also participate in open play sessions alongside some of Malaysia’s top live streamers, including the dynamic Andrew ‘Stonkol69’ and ‘Abangkepuk’.
