This November in Singapore, Doraemon will make his first appearance outside of Japan
For the first time in history, Doraemon fans will be able to enjoy the Doraemon Exhibition Singapore 2022 outside of Japan. This news comes as a celebration for the beloved blue character’s birthday which is 3 September 2112 and will be held at the National Museum of Singapore from 5 November 2022 to 5 February 2023.
Since the release of this lovable blue robot in 1970, children all across the world (present company included) have found themselves starstruck by the character and now for the first time ever, we get to experience Doraemon like never before.
What’s exciting is we will now be able to see the contemporary artwork of renowned Japanese Artists with our own two eyes and some of them are names that can appeal to anyone, even if you are not a Doraemon fan.
Moreover, Some of the work featured will be from the artists Makoto Aida, Kayo Ume, Motohiko Odani, Ryota Kuwakubo, Takashi Murakami and many more. Also featured at the exhibition will be highly desirable original drawings and sketches by the legendary, late manga artist, Mr. Fujiko F Fujio.
