Usher in the year of the dragon at Mandarin Oriental’s Lai Po Heen
From 28 January to 24 February 2024, Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur presents a line-up of season-inspired dining that elevates the New Year experience including an enticing array of yee sang selections and festive menus.
Yee Sang Time
Lai Po Heen offers diners a selection of six enticing yee sang, namely Mandarin Oriental Signature Yee Sang served with all the traditional ingredients with specialty Australian Lobster and Caviar.
Moreover, all yee sang are available during lunch and dinner and are priced from RM168 to RM260 for half portion and RM328 to RM520 for full portion. The Mandarin Oriental Signature Yee Sang is priced at RM888 for full portion, exclusive of prevailing taxes. These creations are also all available for takeaway or delivery.
Dine In Instead
At the same time, there are also five exquisite set menus available at Lai Po Heen namely Seasons Peace, Wealth, Prosperity, Fortune, and an additional Vegan menu that are priced at RM 988, RM 768, RM 588, RM 468 per person and RM 228 per person respectively.
The Prosperity, and Fortune menus require a minimum of four diners, while Seasons Peace and Wealth menu requires a minimum of two diners, and each dish will be served individually plated, with exception to the yee sang, which will be served family style.
Did Someone Say Dim Sum?
Dim Sum lovers rejoice as this Happiness Dim sum set menu makes a return to tantalise the taste buds featuring steamed scallop black truffle siew mai; steam shrimp dumpling with asparagus and gold leaves; steam crab meat, shrimp, and spinach dumpling.
It also comes with Deep-fried soft-shell crab yam puff; Double-boiled fish maw, enpiko and fish broth; Stir-fried assorted vegetables, scallops and wild mushrooms; Lotus leaf fried glutinous rice with abalone and shrimp; Double-boiled almond milk tea with egg whites. It is priced at RM388, exclusive of prevailing taxes, per person with a minimum of four diners and is only available for lunch.
