At Watches and Wonders Geneva 2025, TAG Heuer is making a powerful statement, reaffirming its long-standing connection to Formula 1® and unveiling a series of exciting new timepieces.
With its renewed role as the Official Timekeeper of Formula 1®, the brand brings innovation, performance, and motorsport-inspired design to the forefront.
Here’s a look at TAG Heuer’s latest releases at Watches & Wonders 2025, including solar-powered technology, exclusive limited-edition models, and tributes to legendary drivers like Ayrton Senna.
A New Era Of Energy And Design
TAG Heuer introduces the Formula 1 Solargraph, a collection of nine redesigned models that infuse the brand’s racing heritage with modern innovation. Featuring solar-powered movement for the first time in the Formula 1® collection, these timepieces deliver exceptional performance without the need for battery changes.
The Solargraph models come in three core references and six limited editions, all boasting a 38mm case, vibrant colorways inspired by iconic F1® liveries, and ergonomic upgrades for all-day comfort. A key feature is the introduction of TH-Polylight, a lightweight, ultra-durable material that enhances both the watch’s aesthetics and its wearability. This innovation allows TAG Heuer to offer bold colour options and improve comfort, ensuring that the watches are not only performance-driven but also stylish.
Further elevating the collection is the re-engineered bidirectional bezel, which is crafted in the signature TAG Heuer Formula 1 shape. The bezel offers improved functionality and delivers a satisfying mechanical sound with every rotation, adding a touch of sophistication to the overall experience.
A Masterpiece Of Timing
TAG Heuer also celebrates its return as the Official Timekeeper of Formula 1® with an ultra-exclusive, limited-edition Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph. Only 10 pieces of this elite timepiece will be produced, making it a true collector’s item.
At the heart of the Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph is the Calibre TH81-00 split-seconds chronograph movement, a sophisticated mechanism that allows for the simultaneous timing of multiple intervals—ideal for the fast-paced nature of Formula 1® racing. The watch features a white ceramic and sapphire crystal case, showcasing TAG Heuer’s mastery of advanced materials and engineering precision.
Design elements pay homage to F1® heritage, including a red-tinted translucent dial, asphalt-textured chronograph counters, and the iconic phrase “LIGHTS OUT & AWAY WE GO” from F1® commentator David Croft. The green and red lacquered shield and sapphire caseback displaying the hand-finished movement further emphasize the brand’s deep connection to motorsport.
Classic Designs With Modern Flair
The TAG Heuer Carrera line also receives a refresh with the introduction of the Carrera Day-Date and Carrera Date Twin-Time models. These timepieces reimagine the success watch, combining classic Carrera design elements with updated features for today’s watch enthusiasts.
In addition, the beads-of-rice bracelet makes a triumphant return to the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph, adding a touch of vintage sophistication to the collection. This timeless bracelet design, beloved by collectors, brings an added layer of elegance to the iconic Carrera chronograph.
Designed to Win
TAG Heuer’s Designed to Win campaign, which pays tribute to legendary F1® driver Ayrton Senna, captures the brand’s competitive spirit as it moves into its next era. Senna’s enduring legacy in the world of motorsport is a constant source of inspiration, and this campaign honors the passion, precision, and drive that defined his career.
