We’re halfway through 2024 and this June, Disney+ Hotstar has lined up an exciting number of shows to entice subscribers. Star Wars fans will want to tune into The Acolyte, the last live-action series from Lucasfilm.

Welcome to Wrexham Season 3

Premiering on 5 June

Welcome to Wrexham is a two-season documentary chronicling the takeover of the Wrexham Football Club by Hollywood stars Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds. The series explores their crash course in football club ownership while delving into the club’s history, the town of Wrexham, and the challenges of revitalising the Red Dragons. With unprecedented access, the documentary promises to take fans inside the sport like never before, showcasing McElhenney and Reynolds’ genuine love for the game and their ambition to bring glory to Wrexham FC.

Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture

Premiering on 21 June

Set four years after the events of Code Geass Lelouch of the Resurrection, Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture follows two highly skilled mercenaries called Ash and Rozé. After successfully rebelling against the occupying forces of the Brittania Army for over four years, the mercenaries get recruited to work alongside a Japanese resistance group in a last-ditch attempt to repel the occupiers for good.

The Bear Season 3

Premiering on 27 June

Season three of FX’s The Bear follows Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), Sydney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri) and Richard “Richie” Jerimovich (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they do what it takes to elevate The Bear, their beef stand-turned-fine dining establishment, to the highest level, all while doing their best just to stay in business. It’s a losing battle every day in the restaurant business, and Carmy pushes himself harder than ever, demanding excellence from his crew, who do their best to match his intensity.
