Palace Hotel Tokyo

Palace Hotel Tokyo has unveiled Couture Tokyo: The Art of Japanese Fashion, a new accommodation package that offers guests an insider’s look at Japan’s fashion heritage through curated tours, cultural experiences and culinary highlights.

Available for stays from 22 July 2026, the package is the latest addition to the hotel’s Best of Japan series and is designed for travellers interested in Japanese design, craftsmanship and textile traditions.

The two-night experience includes accommodation, daily breakfast, a kaiseki dinner at Wadakura inspired by late fashion designer Kenzo Takada, an exclusive Palace Hotel Tokyo tote bag by Japanese textile brand suzusan, and a private guided fashion tour with chauffeur service.

Guests can choose from three fashion-focused itineraries curated by fashion and luxury culture scholar Kaori Nakano. Each explores a different side of Tokyo’s fashion landscape.

Japan Through A Creative Lens

The Ginza itinerary centres on Wako, the historic retailer housed in Seiko House, with the option to continue to Dover Street Market for a contemporary contrast. The Daikanyama tour features the flagship boutique of Jun Ashida, one of Japan’s most influential fashion designers, alongside MIZEN TOKYO, which champions traditional textile craftsmanship through a modern approach.

A third option explores Omotesando and Ura-Harajuku, where guests visit Kimono Yamato and its affiliated brands KIMONO ARCH and Y. & SONS, as well as contemporary labels including CFCL and PORTER, known for its handcrafted bags.

For an additional fee, guests can opt to be personally hosted by Kaori Nakano or arrange a bespoke six-hour fashion itinerary tailored to their interests.

The experience concludes each day with a seasonal kaiseki dinner at Wadakura, where a signature shabu-shabu course pays tribute to Kenzo Takada, who frequently stayed at the hotel and requested the dish during his visits.

The Couture Tokyo: The Art of Japanese Fashion package is available from 22 July 2026, with rates starting from JPY372,000 based on double occupancy.
