The Omega Trophy Malaysia took place on Saujana Golf & Country Club
The picturesque scenery of Saujana Golf & Country Club once again played host to an exceptional display of skill, elegance, and camaraderie as Omega presented the exclusive women’s only Omega Trophy on 26 September 2023.
The Best Of The Best
The tournament saw 53 women golfers of varying skill levels showcase their talent and passion for the sport. A 9-hole round of Stableford play ensured a level playing field, emphasising strategy and precision as players vied for victory and an array of coveted prizes.
Moreover, the Omega Trophy also brought participants and guests along an experience of the MidAutumn Festival with hints of oriental decor, personalised folding hand fans and mooncakes for guests to indulge their senses.
Style And Food
The prizes were unveiled during an exquisite dinner at the Ti Chen Restaurant in the Saujana Hotel. The ladies graced the evening elegantly attired in stunning cheongsams and were treated to a delightful culinary voyage.
Special performances by Janet Lee and a talented 5-piece band added a touch of musical magic to the evening. Additionally, participants had the privilege of immersing themselves in the world of Omega’s exquisite timepieces.
A Trophy to Remember
On top of that, the winners of the tournament were honoured with the Omega Trophy and Omega’s bespoke jewellery, presented by Mr. Martin Issing, Vice President of Omega Malaysia.
Tan San Lin emerged as this year’s Champion after racking up 19 points, winning on countback. The trophies and accolades symbolized not only victory on the green but also a shared appreciation for the artistry that Omega embodies on and off the green. The Omega Trophy not only celebrated the love of golf but also fostered a sense of community and shared passion among all participants.
