Same Sneakers, New Look

Miu Miu’s continued collaboration with New Balance has produced three new iterations of the latter brands iconic 574 sneaker for the Spring/Summer 2023 season. Crafted in fringed blue and marble-effect cognac denim and blanched white leather, the sneakers uphold the New Balance heritage, drawing on a much-loved Eighties silhouette. The design effortlessly matches with the Miu Miu handwriting now prominently displayed on the already good looking 574 sneakers. This elevates the look of these sneakers to a whole new level.

New Logo, New Style

Elements of deconstruction and reconstruction and of the reinventing of wardrobe archetypes are all present in the new 574 sneakers. The stacked New Balance x Miu Miu logo, first seen on the Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2022 runway in Paris, is stamped on the tongue of all sneakers once again.

This latest proposal is showcased by photographer and videographer, Moni Haworth and stars model Kayla Dunlap in a stripped back and muscular sequence of still and moving imagery, The photos encapsulates the conversation between fashion and function, between innovation and a respect for technique and tradition that both Miu Miu and New Balance names represent.
