Marina Bay Sands is gearing up to usher in the Year of the Snake with an exciting array of events, performances, and retail offerings, starting 27 January 2025. The property will shine with its annual Chinese New Year Light Up, offering a festive atmosphere that combines tradition, modernity, and artistic flair.
Cultural Performances
The celebration kicks off at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands with the unveiling of a spectacular chandelier of blessings at the Grand Colonnade, designed to symbolise the Year of the Snake. The vibrant installation features cascading Chinese couplets and fluid snake motifs, setting a majestic stage for the festivities.
Decorations
Throughout the resort, beautiful Singapura Red decorations celebrate good fortune and prosperity. Inspired by classic Chinese art, installations depict snakes winding through mountain landscapes, forming auspicious characters such as 福 (Fu, Fortune), 春 (Chun, Spring), 吉 (Ji, Luck), and 发 (Fa, Prosperity).
Exclusive Retail Offers
The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands also offers an exclusive Chinese New Year shopping experience, showcasing luxury brands like Bvlgari, Chloé, and Roger Vivier, with special pieces celebrating the Year of the Snake. Highlights include Bvlgari’s Serpenti necklace in 18K rose gold, Roger Vivier’s Flower Mary Jane pumps, and Roger Dubuis’ Excalibur 36 watch in festive red.
Gastronomic Delights
There are also exquisite feasts to savour at Imperial Treasure Fine Teochew Cuisine and Imperial Treasure Fine Chinese Cuisine, offering set menus featuring marinated duck, Peking duck, and steamed fish. Meanwhile, Mott 32, KOMA, and RISE offer a fusion of flavors with their unique takes on traditional dishes like Yu Sheng and roasted meats.
