The Laco Augsburg and Aachen Grün mix limited edition with chic flair
Laco’s latest limited-edition marvels, the “Augsburg Grün” and “Aachen Grün” have officially made their debut. These new timepieces mark the fourth edition in Laco’s series of coloured watches, and they offer a refreshing twist on the brand’s classic pilot watch design. With only 250 pieces of each model available, these are truly exclusive additions to any watch collection.
Be Different
The “Augsburg Grün” and “Aachen Grün” stand out with their striking matte green dials, complemented by polished details and vintage-inspired leather straps. Each watch features a 42mm stainless steel case that blends brushed and polished finishes, highlighting the intricate craftsmanship.
Moreover, the polished bezel and partially polished crown add a touch of sophistication, making these watches versatile enough for both casual and formal settings. The “Augsburg Grün” sports a type A dial layout with hour, minute, and central second hands, ensuring clear readability. 
Same Same, But Different
In contrast, the “Aachen Grün” showcases a type B dial, with minute markers on the outer ring, giving it a more technical yet classic look. Both models feature luminescent Superluminova C1 material on the hands and numerals, ensuring they remain visible in any lighting conditions.
Additionally, a durable sapphire crystal protects the dial and can be upgraded with a double-sided anti-reflective coating upon request. This coating minimises glare and enhances contrast, making the watch’s details even more distinct.
At The Heart
Under the hood, both models are powered by the reliable Laco 2S automatic movement, based on the Miyota 82S0, offering a 42-hour power reserve and a stop-seconds function. For those seeking even greater precision, an upgrade to the Laco 31 movement, based on the Miyota 8315, is available, extending the power reserve to over 60 hours and featuring thermally blued screws.
The “Augsburg Grün 42” and “Aachen Grün 42” are now available for RM2,416 each at Red Army Watches in Pavilion KL & 1 Utama Shopping Centre and online.
