Jungle Ballroom’s Head Bartender, Adrian Besa, is pushing the boundaries of mixology with the launch of their new cocktail menu, Jungle Journeys Vol.2. This innovative menu, debuting in October at Mondrian Singapore Duxton, is the second instalment of the Jungle Journeys initiative, a series dedicated to exploring and celebrating the diverse flavours and talents of Asia through sophisticated mixology.Drinks

Journey Across Spirits

The creation of Jungle Journeys Vol.2 involved 16 exciting expeditions across Asia, from lush jungles to vibrant cities. Adrian and his team travelled through 11 countries, including Cambodia, South Korea, Malaysia, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, Japan, the Philippines, Thailand, and Singapore.

On their journey, they sought out unique spirits and local mixology talents, crafting a 16-cocktail collection inspired by their adventures. Each cocktail in the new menu pays homage to the cultures and landscapes encountered during their travels. For example, the “Blue Ocean” cocktail reflects Okinawa’s tranquil waters, blending Okinawa Gin, toasted rice vermouth, spirulina, and sea grapes into a serene, oceanic experience. Jungle

Sustainable And Delicious

Another standout, “Java,” is a nod to Bali, combining East Indies Pink Pomelo Gin with coffee and orange zest for a refreshing twist on an espresso martini, topped with a demerara java cream float. The team’s first volume featured the “Little Pari” cocktail, inspired by Cambodian mixologist Pari (Sophary Unn) and her sustainable Khmer gin.

The focus also expands to showcase even more exotic and often overlooked spirits, spotlighting the remarkable craftsmanship behind them. Before the full launch on 16 October, Jungle Ballroom will offer sneak peeks of four unique cocktails in a special preview series. Jungle

Rotating Menu

From 14 August, each fortnight will feature cocktails inspired by cities such as Siem Reap, Seoul, Malacca, and Pampanga. This preview will provide a taste of the diverse and innovative flavours awaiting cocktail enthusiasts.
