Experience K-Dramas On Disney+ Hotstar Without A Subscription This Ramadan

In March, just in time for Ramadan, Disney+ Hotstar Malaysia will unlock an exclusive selection of Korean dramas. This will allow audiences to stream selected episodes of exciting content without a subscription for the first time ever. From now till 31 March 2025, viewers can sign up on the Disney+ Hotstar homepage and enjoy a curated line-up spanning action, crime, romance, and thrillers – no payment required.

As families come together to break fast this Ramadan, Disney+ Hotstar has an open invitation to watch some of South Korea’s best dramas.

Viewers can tune into:

Moving, the winner of the 2024 Baeksang Arts Awards Grand Prize, a supernatural thriller following a group of teenagers who inherit secret abilities from their spy parents, placing them at the center of a dangerous conspiracy.

Feel the tension in Big Mouth, the high-stakes legal thriller crowned Drama of the Year at the 2022 MBC Drama Awards, where a struggling lawyer is framed as a notorious conman and must outsmart a powerful member of the elite to survive.

Disney+ Hotstar Ramadan

For crime and suspense lovers, Vigilante follows a model student who takes justice into his own hands, while Revenant unveils a chilling tale of a woman possessed, ancient curses, and the battle between the living and the dead.

Fans of Lee Dong-wook can get a glimpse of the veteran star’s foray into action in A Shop for Killers, where a young woman discovers her late uncle’s deadly secrets. End your crime buffet with The Worst of Evil, where an undercover officer infiltrates a ruthless drug cartel in 1990s Seoul.

For romance lovers, Call It Love is a beautiful tale of revenge that turns into an unexpected love story, while Red Swan follows a woman trapped in a web of deceit and betrayal within Korea’s high society. Meanwhile, Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born, the APAN Star Award Winner for Drama of the Year (2024), presents the moving journey of an ambitious young woman striving for success in the cutthroat world of Korean theatre.

New releases add a dash of excitement, including Light Shop, a supernatural drama surrounding a mysterious little shop where the dead and living meet.
