Cathay Pacific is redefining luxury travel with the unveiling of its new Business Class, the Aria Suite, alongside refreshed Premium Economy and Economy cabins on its retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. This innovative suite was launched at a glamorous event featuring special guest Fala Chen and key executives from the airline, including Ronald Lam, Cathay Group CEO.

A Grand Celebration

The newly retrofitted aircraft made its debut on the Hong Kong-Beijing route on 18 October, with plans for gradual deployment on other regional and long-haul routes. The launch event, held at Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited’s hangar, gathered esteemed guests, loyal customers, media, and Cathay employees to celebrate this significant upgrade.

Lavinia Lau, Chief Customer and Commercial Officer, emphasised Cathay’s commitment to enhancing passenger experience, saying, “At Cathay, we believe in moving people forward in life. Our investment of over HK$100 billion over the next seven years reflects our dedication to improving our fleet, cabin products, lounges, and digital services.”

A Vision Made Real

The Aria Suite is a testament to this vision, with a design focused on customer comfort and privacy. Every aspect of the suite has been crafted to create a seamless and immersive inflight experience, ensuring travellers enjoy a journey that feels intuitive and effortless.

The airline plans to introduce new seating products over the next three years, including a leading First Class experience on its 777-9s and a flat-bed Business Class on its Airbus A330s. As Cathay Pacific invests in cutting-edge aircraft and innovative technology, travellers can expect a reimagined inflight journey that prioritises comfort and sophistication.
