BMW Malaysia expands the electric X2 lineup in Malaysia with the iX2 xDrive30
BMW Malaysia has officially opened pre-booking for the first-ever BMW iX2 xDrive30 in the Malaysian market, introducing a versatile all-electric sports activity coupe tailored for diverse situations. Benjamin Nagel, Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia, highlighted the company’s commitment to electric mobility with the debut of this EV SUV.
The First Of Its Kind
As the first-ever all-electric premium sport activity coupé in the BMW X2 class, it reinforces the brand’s position as the leading premium EV provider in Malaysia. In 2023, over 3,600 units of BMW, MINI, and BMW Motorrad electrified vehicles were delivered, marking a significant milestone.
The first-ever BMW iX2 xDrive30 showcases a modern, sporty design with digital innovations, incorporating an Android Open Source-based control system for the first time. Its rebellious appearance features a redesigned closed kidney grille, adaptive LED headlights, and a muscular silhouette emphasised by V-spoke style wheels and LED taillights.
Luxurious InteriorInside, the BMW iX2 xDrive30 boasts a fully digital curved display, wireless charging tray, Harman Kardon Hi-Fi speaker system, and advanced digitalization for a modern appeal. It combines sportiness and comfort with upgraded stabiliser bearings, Adaptive M Suspension, and M Sports Brakes.
Equipped with the latest charging technology, the BMW iX2 xDrive30 offers quick and convenient charging options, with a maximum charging power of 130 kW at High-Power Charging stations. The vehicle embodies Sheer Electric Driving Pleasure with one electric motor per axle, making 313hp and up to 449km of WLTP range.
Intelligent Safety And Connectivity
On top of that, the BMW iX2 xDrive30 features state-of-the-art connectivity and intelligent systems, including the brand’s Operating System 9, proprietary maps and sophisticated driver assistance systems. It is available in various exterior colours and upholstery options.

The Price
The recommended retail pricing for the BMW iX2 xDrive30 is RM 282,800.00 on the road, without insurance, with an additional RM14,200 for the (additional) Service & Repair Inclusive package (which consists of the 5-Year Extended Warranty and Service).
