Following the reveal of its Fall 26 Collection and the Balenciaga | NBA collaboration, Balenciaga has extended the partnership into the digital arena with the launch of in-game apparel in NBA 2K26, the latest instalment of 2K’s globally successful basketball simulation franchise.

The move reinforces Balenciaga’s growing engagement with major gaming platforms, recognising gaming as one of the world’s most influential entertainment industries — and a powerful space for self-expression, identity and community.
For more than 25 years, NBA 2K has sat at the intersection of fashion, music, sport and technology, shaping and reflecting basketball culture on and off the court. The franchise has also evolved into a discovery platform, connecting both heritage and emerging brands with a global audience of players.
Digitisation And Personalisation

Within this digital ecosystem, select pieces from the Balenciaga | NBA collaboration are now available for purchase in NBA 2K26. Players can customise their MyPLAYER avatars with signature apparel from the collection, including coach jackets, oversized T-shirts, tracksuits and zip-up hoodies, translating Balenciaga’s house codes into an interactive, playable format.
The in-game collection draws on the NBA’s iconic colour palette of electric blue, scarlet and white, alongside Balenciaga’s signature black. Several designs feature the numeral 10, a reference to 10 Avenue George V, the house’s historic Paris address, alongside co-branded Balenciaga and NBA logomarks.

This first drop of in-game apparel will be available through 30 January 2026, with additional digital content set to debut in future NBA 2K26 seasons.
In parallel with the virtual launch, physical pieces from the Balenciaga | NBA collaboration are available at select Balenciaga stores worldwide and on balenciaga.com, ahead of the wider release of the Balenciaga Fall 26 Collection.
By bridging luxury fashion and interactive play, Balenciaga continues to explore new cultural spaces — positioning gaming not just as entertainment, but as a contemporary platform for style, individuality and connection.
