Aston Martin Enters The Gaming Arena With Dreadnought For Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4

Aston Martin is venturing further into the world of gaming with the unveiling of Dreadnought, a digital-only vehicle created exclusively for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. Developed in collaboration with Infinity Ward and Activision, the virtual SUV marks the luxury carmaker’s latest effort to engage a younger generation through interactive entertainment.

Rather than adapting an existing model, Aston Martin‘s design team was given complete creative freedom to imagine a vehicle unconstrained by real-world engineering. The result is a military-inspired all-wheel-drive SUV that blends the marque’s signature craftsmanship with the demands of a futuristic combat environment.
Despite existing solely in the digital realm, Dreadnought retains recognisable Aston Martin design cues, from its sculpted proportions and carbon-fibre detailing to the Oxford Tan leather interior accents and metallic gold finishes. These luxury touches sit alongside features unique to the game, including military-grade armour, integrated weapons storage and adaptive battlefield intelligence systems.
Venture Into Gaming

The name itself references both the phrase “fear nothing” and the revolutionary HMS Dreadnought, the British battleship that transformed naval warfare in the early 20th century. That influence extends to the vehicle’s uncompromising character, envisioned as the ultimate tactical machine capable of navigating hostile environments while delivering the unmistakable soundtrack of a V12-powered Aston Martin.
Players will be able to find Dreadnought across Call of Duty: Warzone and DMZ game modes when Modern Warfare 4 launches later this year.

For Aston Martin, the project represents more than a marketing collaboration. It forms part of the company’s broader strategy to expand its luxury brand into new cultural spaces, using gaming to introduce its design philosophy to future customers. A full-scale model of the virtual SUV will also make its public debut at Fanatics Fest in New York, offering fans a rare opportunity to experience the digital creation beyond the screen.
The collaboration reflects a growing convergence between luxury automotive brands and gaming, where virtual experiences have become an increasingly important platform for storytelling, design exploration and engaging the next generation of enthusiasts.
