In an inspired union of British heritage and cutting-edge innovation, Aston Martin and Glenfiddich have announced a global partnership that brings together two icons of craftsmanship and performance. Officially unveiled at Monterey Car Week in California, the collaboration promises to blend the timeless elegance of high-performance motoring with the art of fine whisky, in a celebration of excellence, design, and shared legacy.

Marking Glenfiddich’s debut as Aston Martin’s official whisky partner, the announcement follows the whisky house’s existing affiliation with the Aston Martin Formula One Team. This new chapter cements a deeper alliance between two brands that have long defined their industries through bold vision and unwavering standards of quality.

United In Craftsmanship

Stefano Saporetti, Director of Brand Diversification at Aston Martin, commented: “Aston Martin and Glenfiddich are united by a deep respect for heritage and a commitment to craftsmanship. This partnership allows us to bring our shared story to life through immersive, sensory experiences that resonate with our customers.”

To commemorate this union, Glenfiddich has unveiled a showstopping release: a 1976 Single Malt aged for 48 years. This exquisite expression, finished in a bespoke European oak sherry cask, encapsulates a pivotal era in both brands’ evolution.

The 1970s marked Glenfiddich’s bold modernisation—including the debut of its signature stag emblem—while Aston Martin introduced ground-breaking design principles that would shape its future.

The 1976 Vintage offers a sensorial journey: red berries and buttery pastry on the nose, layered with hints of soft spice and sherbet. The palate reveals elegant notes of stewed fruit, toasted wood and dry oak tannin, finishing with a lingering warmth of sweet oak spice. Only 50 bottles will be available globally, exclusively through The Distillers Library and The Glenfiddich Distillery.

Claudia Falcone, Global Brand Director at Glenfiddich, said: “To honour this shared spirit of transformation, Glenfiddich is introducing a curated pop-up whisky tasting at The House of Aston Martin during Monterey Car Week, where Valhalla – Aston Martin’s first plug-in hybrid supercar – will take centre stage.”
