Ardbeg

Renowned Islay distillery Ardbeg continues its legacy of innovation with the release of three limited-edition single malt whiskies—Ardbeg Smokiverse, Ardbeg Anthology: The Beithir’s Tale, and Ardbeg Traigh Bhan—now exclusively available at Hank’s in Malaysia.

Part of Ardbeg’s portfolio, the trio reflects the distillery’s relentless pursuit of bold flavour, craftsmanship and collectability.

Leading the line-up is Ardbeg Smokiverse, a landmark expression that marks the distillery’s first-ever use of a high-gravity mash. This experimental approach unlocks a vivid spectrum of tropical fruit notes, layered with Ardbeg’s unmistakable smoky peat character. The result is a whisky that is both adventurous and unmistakably Islay, offering a new dimension to Ardbeg’s signature style.

Completing the distillery’s Anthology trilogy is Ardbeg Anthology: The Beithir’s Tale. Matured in bespoke designer bourbon casks, this final chapter showcases a complex interplay of sweetness, spice and smoke. Crafted as a celebration of Ardbeg’s experimental spirit, the expression delivers depth and character while bringing the acclaimed series to a fitting close.

Rounding out the trio is Ardbeg Traigh Bhan, the concluding small-batch release of the iconic 19-year-old single malt. Bottled at a higher strength, this edition features an increased proportion of first-fill Oloroso sherry casks, adding richness and complexity to its refined, smoky profile. Revered by collectors, Traigh Bhan remains a benchmark for long-aged Islay whisky.

In addition to the three exclusive releases, Ardbeg 19 Years Old – Traigh Bhan Batch 6 is also available at Hank’s and select retail outlets. Aged in bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, Batch 6 offers a delicate balance of olive oil and freshly cut grass, underpinned by classic Ardbeg peat.

The new collection presents a rare opportunity for collectors and smoky-malt enthusiasts to experience Ardbeg’s boldest expressions yet.
