In June 2024 on Netflix check out the digital premiere of the critically acclaimed Malaysian film Abang Adik. A recipient of seven nominations at the 60th Golden Horse Awards, the films stars Wu Kang-ren, who bagged the Best Actor award for his compelling portrayal of deaf-mute orphan Abang.
The film also features Malaysian actor Jack Tan as Adik, and it tells the arduous journey of two stateless sworn brothers struggling to survive in a life of poverty in the gritty corners of Pudu Elsewhere in the world, all-star athlete Ken Sato takes on the mantle of Ultraman when Tokyo comes under siege from rising monster attacks Ultraman: Rising.
The titanic superhero meets his match when he reluctantly adopts a 35-foot-tall, fire-breathing baby kaiju, and must learn to rise above his ego to balance work and parenthood while protecting the baby from forces bent on exploiting her for their own dark plans.
Elsewhere, it’s not happily ever after just yet for Colin and Penelope, as their love story continues in Bridgerton: Season 3 Part 2 following Colin’s passionate confession in Part 1. Last but not least, step into the realm of the otherworldly with Joko Anwar’s Nightmares and Daydreams, a sci-fi supernatural series featuring a staggering ensemble cast that’s made up of 65 actors.
Over the course of seven episodes, the series will present different stories and strange phenomena with each episode, leading up to a big showdown in the finale.
