Zouk Singapore To Undergo Multi-Million Dollar Transformation

Share

Zouk Group has announced a major multi-million-dollar transformation of its Singapore venues, marking its most ambitious renovation since the brand’s founding.

Timed ahead of Zouk’s 35th anniversary, the phased redevelopment will begin in the first quarter of 2026 and is scheduled for completion by June 2026.

Elevated Experiences

Zouk Singapore

The extensive renovation will encompass Zouk’s flagship venues at CQ @ Clarke Quay, including Zouk Mainroom, Phuture, Capital and RedTail.

The project underscores Zouk Group’s long-term commitment to Singapore’s nightlife and entertainment ecosystem, as well as its intention to future-proof one of the country’s most enduring cultural institutions.

“As we approach our 35th anniversary, Zouk remains committed to leading, evolving and enhancing entertainment and lifestyle experiences in Singapore,” said Andrew Li, Chief Executive Officer of Zouk Group. He noted that the investment extends beyond physical upgrades, focusing on expanded capacity, advanced technology and more inclusive, multi-dimensional experiences that encourage connection and community.

Strength To Strength

The announcement follows strong performance for Zouk Singapore, which recorded a 28 per cent year-on-year increase in total footfall. Post-renovation, the venue anticipates a further 20 per cent growth in visitor numbers, driven by enhanced design, improved guest flow and refreshed programming.

The redevelopment is supported by a lease extension with CapitaLand, securing Zouk’s long-standing home at CQ @ Clarke Quay and reflecting a shared commitment to Singapore’s nightlife and lifestyle sectors.

Design Focus

To lead the redesign, Zouk Group has appointed two internationally recognised creative partners — Josh Held Design and lighting and audiovisual studio Superlative.

Both studios previously collaborated on Zouk Tokyo, a project that helped establish the brand’s global presence. Their return signals a cohesive design vision focused on immersive environments and technical excellence.

A key feature of the transformation is the reconfiguration of Zouk Mainroom, which will introduce a fully modular layout with movable acoustic walls. This flexibility will allow the space to adapt to a variety of formats, from intimate live performances to large-scale launches and experiential events.

Tech And Innovation

Across the venue, upgrades will include concert-grade sound systems, immersive lighting, and high-resolution LED walls designed to elevate both visual storytelling and live entertainment.

Beyond nightlife, Zouk’s refreshed concept reflects an expanded programming vision. Alongside its signature DJ-led events, the venue will host live music, fashion collaborations, wellness experiences, creative networking sessions and MICE activations, transforming Zouk into a multi-functional, day-to-night destination.

Set to be completed in mid-2026, the transformation marks a significant milestone for Zouk Singapore, reinforcing its role as a cultural anchor while ushering in a bold new era of entertainment experiences.
