Wishing Tree Exchange 106

Exchange 106, Malaysia’s tallest skyscraper, has launched its inaugural Wishing Tree @ Exchange 106 campaign in partnership with Affin Hwang Investment Bank Berhad (Affin Hwang) and humanitarian NGO MERCY Malaysia. The initiative combines corporate social responsibility with community action to raise funds for disaster relief while fostering a culture of hope and collective giving.

The campaign revolves around two core components: the Wishing Tree installation and a four-day Fundraising Bazaar. The symbolic tree allows donors to fulfil real-life “wishes” submitted by underserved communities, turning aspirations into tangible support. Each fulfilled wish serves as a step towards creating meaningful change for those in need.

Complementing the tree is the Fundraising Bazaar, set to run from 23 to 26 June at Menara AFFIN, Tun Razak Exchange (TRX). The bazaar features a curated lineup of local merchants, with a portion of proceeds directed to the MERCY Malaysia Disaster Relief Fund. Among the participating brands are Watsons Malaysia, Sometime by Asian Designers, Chef Kecik, Ho Ho Musang King, and Hi-Bliss, among others.

The initiative is expected to reach over 13,000 professionals within the TRX district, promoting ESG awareness and civic responsibility. All contributions are managed under Affin Hwang’s ESG framework, in accordance with Bank Negara Malaysia’s Climate Change and Principle-based Taxonomy (CCPT).

The public and TRX community members are encouraged to visit the bazaar, shop for a cause, and help turn wishes into reality.
