Rado Unveils Centrix Moonphase Limited Edition Inspired by Celestial Storytelling
Share
For 2026, Rado has introduced the Centrix Moonphase Limited Edition, a new timepiece that draws inspiration from the romance of the night sky and the timeless storytelling of One Thousand and One Nights.
Designed to evoke a sense of wonder and imagination, the watch combines celestial motifs with refined craftsmanship, offering a more poetic take on modern watch design.
A Celestial-Inspired Design
At the heart of the timepiece is a richly detailed dial that mirrors the night sky. A shimmering aventurine background, enhanced with a diamond-like finish, creates a stardust effect, while black mother-of-pearl adds depth and contrast.
A curved band of 29 diamonds arcs across the dial, symbolising the Earth’s horizon. Above it sits the moonphase display — a first for the Centrix collection — showcasing the lunar cycle as it waxes and wanes throughout the month.
The design draws directly from the magical themes of One Thousand and One Nights, where the passage of time is intertwined with storytelling, mystery and discovery.
Craftsmanship Meets Functionality
The watch is housed in a polished stainless steel case, protected by a curved sapphire crystal. Black high-tech ceramic links on the bracelet complement the silver-toned finish, reinforcing its sleek, contemporary aesthetic.

Inside, the timepiece is powered by a Rado quartz movement, ensuring precise and reliable performance. The case back continues the celestial theme, featuring engraved star motifs and the inscription “Limited Edition, One Night Out of 1001,” a nod to its exclusivity.
Limited Edition With Symbolic Details
Limited to just 1,001 pieces, the Centrix Moonphase reflects the narrative of its inspiration while positioning itself as a collectible design piece.
Each watch is presented with a special display box and certificate, reinforcing its status as both a timekeeping instrument and a statement accessory.
Expanding The Collection
Alongside the limited edition, Rado has also introduced three additional Centrix Moonphase models in brown, black and white colourways.
While not limited in production, these variations continue the celestial theme with mother-of-pearl dials and refined detailing, offering a broader interpretation of the relationship between Earth and moon.
